I am a musician and dancer who loves working with students of all ages. My piano experience is primarily rigorous classical training; however, I am also well-versed in Latin piano music, from classical to popular. In addition to piano, I play Brazilian percussion and sing. As a dancer and dance teacher, I draw on my knowledge of music to inspire my students to feel the pulse and interact with the music. Likewise, as a music teacher, I encourage my students to incorporate the music, as this creates the most natural and effortless expression.

Kent Major

I have been a musician since my first word "piamo". I started the study of violin at age 4 and voice at age 5. I went to Interlochen Music camp first when I was 7 years old. I began piano at 8, and composition at 13. I entered and was a finalist both nationally and in some cases internationally in many composition contests before, at age 17, I won both the MTNA and NFMC national composition contests.
